We will donate 10% of our net profit to charitable organizations that you, our valued customers, actively participate in choosing.  It won’t cost you or them an extra penny. You can choose your level of involvement in the following ways:

1.    Cast a vote at checkout: each store will have two recognized organizations that you can vote for.  The charity with the greatest number of votes will be awarded 3% of our net profit.

2.    Submit the name of a local charity: each customer can participate in choosing who we showcase in our Local Corner. At checkout you will have the option to go to a separate page and submit the name of your favorite local 501(c)(3) charity which will be entered into a random drawing. The winner will be showcased in The Local Corner and awarded 5% of our net profit.

3.    Become our most valued customer: we want to honor customers who believe in our philosophy of giving. The customer that is responsible for the largest donation based on their qualified purchases receives 2% of our net profit donated on their behalf to the charity they voted for the most.

*It is our goal to showcase different charities each quarter (every three months) starting in January 2011. Until that time, the charities will remain the same so we can concentrate on building stores that have the potential to give large donations. ** Your local charity must be a 501(c)(3) charity to be eligible for submission. ***Qualified purchases do not include returned items.
